The Restaura Biomas has launched a new website to strengthen knowledge sharing and collaboration around ecosystem restoration in Brazil. Part of the Ecosystem Restoration Integrated Program (ERIP), funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the country project aims to restore 600,000 hectares of ecosystems, bring 1.2 million hectares under improved management practices, and benefit 150,000 people through large-scale restoration efforts across the country.
The new platform brings together project news, publications, technical resources, transparency documents and implementation updates, promoting access to information and the exchange of experiences among restoration practitioners, institutions and partners.
The launch marks an important step in connecting restoration stakeholders, increasing access to information, and fostering exchange between Brazil and the wider ERIP community.
